The MacLeod Cover comprises a patented natural gas (or
propane) heating unit The burner serves to 'de-chill' the air - not warm it-
so conditions inside the cover are ideal for grass growth. The air is
constantly refreshed. Over 12,500 cu ft (365m²) of air
flow every minute. The cover rises 4.5 metres so staff can work under it.
